Okay so I just had to write a little post to give huge props to my husband. I am continually impressed with him in so many aspects of his life, but this one takes the cake. So I was walking in the door from doing a little birthday shopping when I come in bags in hand to find my two kids on the couch playing, with a bag of goldfish completely dumped out all over the couch, and Brett is standing there with the vacuum ready to clean it up and just then...I scream, "Brett...Jozalyn," pointing at her as she was on her way down backwards off of the couch. Brett, with his catlike reflexes jumps, and does a sort of dive roll thing and catches the back of her head with his hand (as an important side note she was on the opposite end of the couch). She is safe, only by the good grace of Daddy's hand. While I am still standing there in shock, and then Brax (who has been obsessively watching Kung Fu Panda) says, "Wow Dad that was some awesome Kung Fu."
We are so lucky to have such a great Daddy! Thanks for saving the day Kung Fu Panda.

i can't stop laughing from Braxton's comment to stop and be impressed with Brett's "cat-like reflexes". That story is full of "awesomeness".Go Poe!
get's those reflexes from me...should have seen my cat like reflexes when he tried getting out of doing dishes
Brett is my hero. One time, 11 years ago, he saved me from getting hit by a commuter train. Long live Brett, saver of offspring and distant cousins. You guys are great. Gorgeous family. God bless.
WOW - don't you just love when they save the day! Thank goodness for Dads! Cute Braxton - he is so darn cute! I can just see him idolizing his dad's Kung Fu moves :)
