Deep breathing

Well after having to take a lot of deep breaths we are finally in one place for more than a couple of weeks, but we are without Brett! We are in Idaho with my family and he is in Alabama for officer training. We are still homeless, we have not found a home in TX. I am crossing my fingers that something pops up in the next couple weeks. The kids are finally getting caught up and on somewhat of a normal schedule. Brax loves being at both grandparents houses and playing with cousins. Joz just loves having everyone spoiling her. Aly is SO loud, a very big talker! She just turned 4 months old yesterday and a few days before that she rolled over all by herself. On Sunday it is my birthday and it is funny how you transition from being excited for birthdays to being indifferent, then later in life I am sure dreading them!
We did so many fun things in AZ with g-ma nana and papa. We had to move our move up because of our Grandpa Armstrong (Brett's Mother's, Dad) passing. He had Alzheimer's, but even an expected death, does not make it any easier. He was a great man. It always gets me a funerals when they deceased was a service member and depending on the branch, what they do to honor them. He was a pilot for the Airforce and was also awarded the distinguished purple heart in his prime. So it was especially close to my heart. It was so good to see all of the family and extended family for this special event.
We next ventured to Ben and Stephs which was a blast. The kids love them and there energy. We went to the lake for jet skiing, of course. I got to try a stand up, which really rocked my world. Brett loved it! Kids just love to play in water and sand where ever they are. Thanks to them for being such greats hosts!
We then finally arrived in Idaho where we are now. Kids always love coming to grammy and grandpa's house. It is always an adventure here! I had my 10-year reunion, which was interesting. I was stag, so that was not any fun, but I did get to show off my kids! We still have other reunions and family coming yet!
I am missing Michigan like I NEVER thought I would. I mainly miss my house, and so many friends I left behind and didn't really get to say goodbye. I cannot express my overwhelming feelings as we crossed into Arizona, Utah and Idaho borders, I really felt the longing I have had to be back closer to home. I miss the environments that are made for families and the safety that surrounds them.
Anyway, that's enough for now.I just had not posted in awhile so wanted to get caught up! I am sure pictures will come soon enough!
