Happy Birthday babe!

After Brett came home early to open his presents of course he got a special present and that was Brax wrapping himself in Daddy's sweatshirt and popping out as if from a cake and saying, "daddy I your present!" How cute is that? I was frantic yesterday because I had planned a night full of surprises for him and my babysitter cancelled and to make it even worse my backup babysitter cancelled (same rescheduled soccer game). Thank goodness for great friends like the Megan and Jeremy who took our kids last minute, thanks again we love you guys! Brett did not know a thing so we eventually made it to The Chop House (after parking by the dental school), where he experienced Cobae(sp?) beef (these are the massaged cows meat ha, sounds funny, huh) better have been the best $80 piece of meat ever! Anywho, it was excellent food a la carte! Then onto the next event where I just punched in the address to the GPS and he drove on. Then we arrived at The Oasis, where we had a private tropical getaway room, complete with sparkling passion fruit cider! It was great!
I hope it was memorable for my old man. I love you so very much and couldn't be happier to have you as my husband (big thanks to Cathy and Barry too for having this one, he is a keeper.)
