E.R. updates

Quick note I have had so many people asking what is going on that I wanted to take a minute to let anyone who cared know, as opposed to trying to keep up with phone calls/texts. First of all, I would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped us and who has been praying for us during this scary time of uncertainty and worry. Our little Avelynn went to the E.R. last Thursday for vomitting (stomach secretions), and a few other things. They ran a bunch of tests and x-rays and ruled out what they had suspected (some kind of obstruction or twist in the intestines or bowel). And we were sent home with no answers really, but we know it was nothing major that required surgery. Then Wednesday we had a very scary episode with her where she stopped breathing totally, was blue and unresponsive. I got her breathing and went again to the E.R. We were admitted. More tests like echo-cardiogram, chest and stomach x-rays, GI, EKG, just to name a few. All tests were negative, she is otherwise a healthy, well baby. She still has most symtoms minus the vomitting, which I don't need to go into, but is home and we are doing fine. We will continue to go to the doctor weekly. No official diagnoses, just reflux or GERD at this point, which doesn't explain everything, but it is a start. She is a trooper, after all of the pokes, prods and tests, she is still smiling!

I had no idea! How scary Jen. Do you have help still? If you need someone to watch Braxton & Jozalyn let me know, OK? We will keep you in our prayers too.
