By the bay...

We went to the beautiful Traverse city and spent our time on the bay of Lake Michigan. Braxton was in heaven as the combo of water and sand is his favorite! I think I speak for all of my family when I say that. We ventured up to Sleeping bear dunes national lakeshore, and did the infamous dune climb. This made me realize just how out of shape I truly am. Brett had Jozalyn on his back, Braxton went full speed, and I was the one needing a break! There was also access to the lake there, so we had Friday, Saturday and Sunday full of sand and water! We also took the scenic route home, and the colors are breathtaking. It is about a 4 1/2 hour drive to Traverse city then another 45 minutes to the dunes, so worth it!
